Exchange rate on a given date

A foreign invoice is converted at the official rate of the day the transaction happened. Convert one amount here, or a whole month.

How it works

  • Rates come from the official publication of the National Bank of Georgia, exactly as it publishes them.
  • No new rate is published on weekends and holidays - for such a day the last rate in force is used, and the table shows which date that was.
  • Some currencies are published per 10 or per 100 units. Conversion uses the per-unit rate, so that never introduces an error.

Today's rates and charts live on their own page.

Frequently asked questions

What about weekend rates?

The National Bank does not publish on non-working days. The last published rate stays in force. The calculator uses it and tells you which date it came from.

Which day's rate should I use?

As a rule, the day of the transaction. For a specific case (an advance, different payment and delivery dates) check with your accountant - this tool gives you the rate, not the accounting rule.

Can I do a whole month at once?

Yes. Paste the list and you get a table with a total plus a CSV you can open in Excel.
