How to find a postal code?
Find the postal code for your address by city, village, or street name. If you already know the code, enter all four digits to see the addresses linked to it.
- Enter the street or settlement name in the search field. You can use Georgian or Latin letters.
- If several similar addresses appear, narrow the results using the city or region filter.
- Compare the full street name and, where specified, the house-number range. Click the code to copy the matching four-digit code.
Keep the leading zero in the postal code: for example, 0102 and 102 are not the same entry. Also carefully compare the names of streets, lanes, and dead ends with your address.
Frequently Asked Questions About Postal Codes
What is a postal code?
A postal code is a code linked to an address that helps sort mail and route deliveries. In Georgia, a postal code consists of four digits and is used together with the city, street, and house number.
Does Georgia have one common postal code?
No. Georgia's postal code must be selected based on the specific address. The country or city name alone is not always enough — specify the settlement or street in your search and, if needed, compare the house number as well.
What should I enter in the ZIP code or Postal code field?
If the country in the form is Georgia and you are entering a Georgian address, enter that address's four-digit postal code in this field. Keep the leading zero. If the form only accepts five digits, check the selected country; do not add an extra digit to the code on your own.
Is a post service center's code also my address's code?
You cannot determine your address's postal code from the code of a nearby service center alone. Look up the recipient's code by address, and check the post office branch's address and service information separately.
What does the data status in the filters mean?
The search shows current data by default. In the filters, you can also view historical or unconfirmed entries. Verify the code of such an entry with Georgian Post before using it for a shipment.
